Special Thermophysiology Announcements
This space has been reserved to make special announcements which do not
fall in one of the categories below or which needs special attention
It is time to update this Thermophysiology web page, and we need your assistance
to do that.
- Please look for your name in the old and the new directory. If you are not included in the new
directory, or if your address has changed, would you please send us the following information as soon as
possible:
- Name
- Institution
- Department
- Street
- City
- State
- Zip
- Country
- Telephone
- Fax
- E-mail
- URL... your webpage
- Enter your research interests from this LIST. Please scroll down
on this link to see the list of research interests.
- Please enter other Thermophysiology research interests which are not on this list.
- Would you be willing to maintain specific areas of information referring to Thermophysiology
Announcements on this website? If yes, please identify the section with which you would like to
help.
- To maintain the usefullness of this website, we URGENTLY NEED volunteers to help keep the
"Thermophysiology Announcements" updated. If you would be willing to become a section editor, please send
us your name, email address, and identify the section for which you would like to be responsible. This
can be done using three possible methods:
- If you already have access to a web server, and it is stable and for long term, you can use
your site and just send us the URL (site address information, i.e., http://www.thermo.edu/jobs.html).
- If you do not have a web server at your disposal, or you do not think that it will be for the
"long term", I can give you an account on the Thermophysiology server, and you can use ftp (file transfer
protocol) to upload the information directly.
- Or finally, if you cannot do either of the above, just email us the information and we will
transform it into html at this location. Of course I would prefer that you use method 1 or 2, if
possible.
- To increase the usefullness of this website, we would like to encourage the use of our discussion
group. A number of controversial issues have arisen lately in different areas that would be fun to
debate generally
. Please see the Thermophysiology home page (lower section) for the link to this group. Remember if
you want your response to go to the entire group, you must address your response to
thermophysiology@physio1.utmem.edu
