The production of this Faculty Handbook is the result of the perseverance and intensive labor of the Faculty Senate, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Administration, and the President of The University of Tennessee and his staff.
The Faculty Handbook should be read carefully since it has been completely restructured and incorporates a number of significant changes. While policy statements contained in this Faculty Handbook were current at the time of the Board of TrusteesŐ approval, regulations and policies are set by the Board of Trustees and are subject to change.
